Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's marriage problems continue to unfold in their reality show "True Tori". According to a report from Daily Mail, the former "Beverly Hills 90210" star even met up with her first husband, Charlie Shanian.
The meeting was supposedly for the former teen star to "gain closure" with her ex, whom she last saw in 2005. They divorced after Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott had an affair while filming a Lifetime Channel project in Canada entitled "Murder Over Mind". Dean McDermott was also married - to TV personality Mary Jo Eustace - when he hooked up with Tori Spelling.
Since then, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's marriage has undergone various trials - from cheating scandals, to alleged money problems, and continuous criticisms about how their marriage resulted from an extramarital affair.
The 41-year-old then decided to come face-to-face with her ex husband Charlie Shanian. While he refused to have their meeting filmed by the crew of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's reality show, the actress shared details of their intimate discussion.
Prior to meeting her ex husband, Tori Spelling even reportedly had a migraine attack, which was also the reason for her recent hospitalization.
A doctor explained her condition, reported by Daily Mail: "When she gets nervous, it manifests in her body."
The episode of True Tori featuring her meeting with Charlie Shanian showed her sharing details of their bittersweet reunion.
"I told him I'll be late. He'll expect that, he was with me for four years," Tori Spelling said, reported by from Daily Mail.
"He told me how he felt. It made me feel sad that he had to come to grips with what I said. ...He's a good man," Tori Spelling cried.
The actress even narrated the details to Dean McDermott. "It felt like family, safe, nurtured by and then it felt like a loss," she lamented.
"I remember how safe I felt with him. When I left I just suddenly felt really alone and I don't know why," Tori Spelling said.
As if prying if Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's marriage can still be fixed, the actor asked his wife if she wished she did not cheat on Charlie Shanian with him. Tori Spelling just responded by repeatedly saying that her ex husband "was a good man".
The mother of four then clarified that it was her decision to leave Charlie Shanian. "I chose not to be with him. I chose to be with you. I made the choice, so I need to figure it out," she said.
