"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2, episode 6 spoilers show that Jake's work will jeopardize a budding relationship. With a new romantic interest, does it mean that Amy is now totally out of his life?
Showrunner Dan Goor dished "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2, episode 6 spoilers to Inside TV as he said that Eva Longoria will appear in a three-episode arc beginning November 9 as Jake's new love interest.
Their fling started innocently enough as Jake and Sophia will meet in a bar and hit it off. Only later do both of them realize that they are actually working on opposing camp as Jake wants to send his thief of a client behind bars.
"Jake meets his match with Sophia-she's a whip-smart lawyer who some people might possibly consider to be attractive," Goor said. "There is sexual tension between the two characters, but there is also the reality that cops and defense attorneys hate each other. The question is: Will Jake sleep with the enemy?"
But what about Jake and Santiago? Will Sophia come in between their clear affections for each other? Eva Longoria's Sophia is only for three episodes so the writers are expected to jump on the Jake-Santiago bandwagon right after.
The Entertainment Weekly earlier offered more "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2 spoilers when it said that Jake's romance with Santiago will be put on backburner as he focuses on work.
In the pilot season's finale, Peralta finally expressed his feelings towards Santiago in the very awkward way that the detective has been known for. His feelings must be genuine because he risked his cover being blown by contacting Santiago.
The synopsis offered "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2, episode 6 spoilers as it reads: "Jake's new romantic interest turns out to be the defense attorney for a criminal he's trying to put behind bars. Elsewhere, Gina and Charles try to move past their relationship."
