There's finally some positive Lindsay Lohan news that's been making headlines.
A judge has reportedly ended the actress' probation in a necklace theft case, according to E! News.
Los Angeles Court Judge James R. Dabney reportedly stated that Lindsay Lohan, who is currently starring in David Mamet's "Speed The Plow" in London, had received favorable reports from her counselor and an agency in London that works with neglected children and disabled people.
"The judge was pleased, the prosectors were pleased and of course I'm pleased that Lindsay's doing well on probation, with her career, and generally with her life," stated Lohan's attorney, Shawn Holley, regarding the good news.
Lohan was reportedly accused of taking a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, California store without permission in the recently resolved 2011 case.
Lindsay Lohan had reportedly been on probation since 2007, when she was arrested twice for driving under the influence. Since then, she had been in and out of the news for her troubles, but is now making the steps to move forward.
Dabney reportedly stated during Thursday's hearing that it appears that Lindsay Lohan has a plan to complete the terms of her sentence in the case filed after she crashed her car on the way to film a scene for the Elizabeth Taylor-Richard Burton TV biopic, "Liz and Dick," according to the Associated Press. Prosecutors had reportedly also charged the "Mean Girls" actress with lying about who was driving when she crashed her Porsche into a dump truck.
During her time on "Oprah's Next Chapter" last summer, Lohan had vowed to change her life around, and it seems that the "Parents Trap" star is slowly doing that.
"As long as I stay honest with myself and do the work I'm willing to do, then there's nothing that can stand in my way of that. I'm my own worst enemy," Lohan told Oprah Winfrey.
