"The Nice Guys" stars Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe are already filming the movie, which gets June 17, 2016 release date.

Because it is set in 1970s Los Angeles, California, do not be surprised to see old pieces and retro looks. For a start, the duo is shooting at the "retro fabulous house of Atlanta producer Dallas Austin". Gosling was also spotted looking great in his retro '70s outfit matched with a moustache barely a month after her girlfriend Eva Mendes gave birth to their daughter, Esmeralda Amada.

On the set of "The Nice Guys", Gosling seems to be living up to the title as he is so pleasant during filming, where Crowe and Kim Bassinger were also present to do their respective scenes, says a report. He did not even mind getting a little wet from the rain as he went to the set in Atlanta, Georgia. Likewise, he worked more than 12 hours straight and it surely made him tired but he maintained to be in good spirits.

All these are due to Gosling being a happy man and an excited father.

According to E! Online, he is said to be constantly checking on his girlfriend and newborn daughter through FaceTime while filming. He is also reported to be seen in Los Angeles, most probably 'sneaking in' for the weekend to spend some quality time with them.

According to THR, the story of "The Nice Guys" focuses on private investigator (Gosling) and hired leg-breaker (Crowe) who will team up to solve the case of a missing girl and what seemed to be an unconnected death of a porn celebrity.

Shane Black ("Iron Man 3") directs "The Nice Guys". He also pens the screenplay alongside Anthony Bagarozzi. Producers are Joel Silver (Silver Pictures) and Ken Kao (Waypoint Entertainment). Executive producers are Hal Sadoff and Michael Malone.
