Alicia Keys pregnant news reported that the "Girl On Fire" singer will still perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards even if she is almost due with her second baby.

According to Alicia Keys pregnant news revealed by MTV, the singer, who is seven months pregnant, was announced at the last minute to perform for this weekend's MTV Europe Music Awards.

The Grammy winner is also nominated for Best Song With A Message for her track "We Are Here".

Alicia Keys shared that she is looking forward to performing amid her heavy pregnancy. She said, reported by MTV: "I am crazy excited to perform on the global stage of the EMA, and for my song to be nominated for Best Song with a Message."

"We Are Here' is a 21st century peace movement that believes if we all stand together and join our voices we CAN create a kinder world for everyone," said the wife of hiphop artist Swizz Beats.

Alicia Keys may be pregnant, but that did not stop her from leading a recent protest rally in New York. According to an earlier report from Daily Mail, the 33-year-old singer reportedly wants to remind the public of the 219 Nigerian schoolgirls who were kidnapped by Boko Haram militants.

Alicia Keys is heavily pregnant but she rallied with 30 women to raise awareness.

The R&B star and her supporters held signs that read: "We Are Here To Bring Back Our Girls Now" and chanted "When do we want them? Now! Now! Alive!"

The singer explained why she takes the matter so seriously: "Today is my son's birthday and it is also making me stand in solidarity with all the mothers of the Chibok girls who have been abducted fo six months and are still missing."

She continued, reported by Daily Mail: "It is just outrageous that that's going on. Some people have even told me they've heard things about 'there's been progress,' but there hasn't been progress because the girls aren't back."

"So I think that we get mixed information. We don't know, so we just have to keep being made aware of what's happening," Alicia Keys pointed out.

Alicia Keys also posted about the tragedy on her social networking sites. She wrote: "On my lil guys birthday I stand with the mothers of Chibok!! We can't ignore 6 months of this tragedy!! What if it was you or me? I want to remind you that in this darkness, your voice matters! Let's do something about this."
