Cristiano Ronaldo has just gotten his third Golden Boot Award for scoring the most goals in Europe. It would seem that the football superstar has vowed to be one of the best football players in history, and he plans on doing exactly that on his current club, Real Madrid.

He and Luis Suarez both received the trophy for the 2013-2014 season for scoring 31 goals apiece last year.

Cristiano Ronaldo was dynamite in La Liga playing for Madrid, while Suarez got to score his 31 goals in Liverpool in the English Premiere League during a suspended shortened season. Suarez got his Golden Boot last month, whereas Ronaldo only recently got his.

This amazingly handsome athlete previously won the award in the 2007-2008 season when he played for Manchester United and in 2010-2011 with Real Madrid.

"Winning the third Golden Shoe feels just like winning the first," Ronaldo told the crowd. "I am very happy. This is a very special day. I always try to do things well, not just last season. I always want more. These last years, my numbers have been very good. The last two were a bit better."

The gorgeous 29-year-old stud from Portugal attended the awarding ceremony with his mother and his son, as well as his teammates, Iker Casillas, Gareth Bale, and Sergio Ramos.

Ronaldo then told the crowd that he wants to become the best player of all-time and that he would like to continue playing the sport with Real Madrid.

"I am not happy with being the best in Portugal. I want to be the best ever," shared Cristiano Ronaldo. "I will work to do that. Then, it depends on each individual's opinion. In my profession, I want to be always the best. I am making my history step by step."

He then added, "When my career ends, I want to look at the statistics and see that I am among the best players ever. I am sure I will be."
