Shonda Rhime's gripping whodunit series, 'How To Get Away With Murder,' is nearing its midseason finale. Every episode sheds a new light to the running story of Professor Sam Keating's (Tom Verica) murder that four law students seem to be the culprit of.
With only seven more episodes left, the show is nearing one of its biggest reveal, "Who killed Sam?" At least, that's what the teaser for this Thursday's episode is suggesting.
Last week, viewers saw Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) wiping blood off of Rebecca's (Katie Findlay) face. In any other circumstance, this would have been a clear indication that she was the one who killed Sam.
"He deserved to die," she told Wes, making us believe that she could actually be the killer. On the other hand, it could also be a misleading clue. She could have been comforting the real person who mauled Sam with Annalise's trophy - Wes.
According to International Business Times, this is exactly one of the theories that fans have come up with for 'How To Get Away With Murder.'
IBT reported, "Due to his over enthusiasm on the case, fans have wildly theorized that he is getting away with murder."
On the other hand, some say that Sam actually killed himself. Some fans suggested that he was Lila Stangard's real killer and that he had decided to commit suicide to get away with that murder.
Others think that the dead body that the four law students burn in the woods isn't really the psychology professor. Well known for her drastic twists, Shonda Rhimes' fans believe that Sam isn't actually dead.
While most of these theories are somewhat out of this world, we can only find out the truth when the new episodes air in the coming weeks.
