Months after the release of her "Anaconda" music video, Nicki Minaj shocked the world once again with her "Only" music video, which received backlash for its "Nazi imagery," according to CBS News.

The rapper took to Twitter Tuesday morning to address the controversial music video.

"I didn't come up w/the concept, but I'm very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I'd never condone Nazism in my art," wrote Nicki Minaj on her Twitter account.

She continued, "Both the producer, & person in charge of over seeing the lyric video (one of my best friends & videographer: A. Loucas), happen to be Jewish."

The "Super Bass" rapper concluded, "The artist who made the lyric video for 'Only' was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called "Metalocalypse" & Sin City."

There was an uproar on Twitter soon after Nicki Minaj released the music video for "Only."

"@NICKIMINAJ i really do love you but your video for 'only' is Really Not Okay. pls do better and take it down or apologize or SOMETHING," wrote Twitter user Yung Wine Emoji.

Another social media user abbey commented, "why did nicki use nazi propaganda in the only video??? why would she wanna be comparing herself to hitler?? @NICKIMINAJ U let us down :("

On Monday, the national director for the Anit-Defamation League and a Holocaust survivor, Abraham H. Foxman, told ABC News that Minaj's video "disturbingly evokes Third Reich propaganda and constitutes a new love for pop culture's exploitation of Nazi symbolism," according to E! News.
