There have been plenty of winning director-actor combinations over the course of Hollywood history, Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese for one, whose combined talents have brought us The Aviator, Gangs Of New York, Shutter Island, and The Wolf Of Wall Street. Tim Burton's favorite collaborator on the other hand is Johnny Depp, and together they have brought us Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. Now the latest actor director tandem that always seems to spell Oscar gold is the team-up of David O. Russel and actress Jennifer Lawrence. We've seen their work in Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle, both of which have earned Academy Award nominations and wins for both the director and the actress.

Now they are continuing the trend with the reported new Jennifer Lawrence movie. The new movie, Joy will have David O. Russel working with is favorite muse Jennifer Lawrence in the biopic of Joy Mangano. For those of you not in the know, Joy Mangano is the inventor of the wildly popular Miracle Mop, which are so successful that they reportedly sell $ 10 million worth of these each year.

Jennifer Lawrence will be playing Mangano, who was a single mother of three living in Long Island. With her invention of the Miracle Mop she has become a Home Shopping Network Superstar.

Also in negotiations to appear in this new Jennifer Lawrence movie is Robert De Niro. If the talks are finalized, it will be the second time that the Academy Award winning actor will be working with Jennifer Lawrence and David O. Russel, the first time was in the movie Silver Linings Playbook. If the deal closes, De Niro will play Jennifer Lawrence' father. David O. Russel will be rewriting the script originally written by the writer of Bridesmaids' screenplay.

The movie is slated for release on Christmas next year.
