Jose Aldo's record was recently dared to be challenged by "The Viper" T.J. Dillashaw, as the UFC bantamweight champion claimed, "Aldo is not that aggressive anymore."

Jose Aldo's record of 25-1 (with 16 victories by stoppage) has solidified his place as the number two pound-for-pound mixed martial arts fighter in the world. His recent victory against Chad Mendes at UFC 179 in late-October also proved that he can weather any storm from any fighter, as it was almost an even five-round fight, leaving the Brazilian champion with one of his eyes almost shut due to his challenger's punches.

However, Jose Aldo's record may be up for another challenge, as Team Alpha Male's T.J. Dillashaw expressed his desire have a crack at it.

"I wanna fight Aldo so bad, dude," Dillashaw said in a report by MMA Fighting. "I will beat Aldo. I wanna fight him. I respect him, he's an awesome fighter."

While both fighters are competing at different weight classes (Aldo at 145, Dillashaw at 135), the rivalry between Team Alpha Male, and Brazil's Nova Uniao has been a heated one for a while now.

The featherweight landscape, on the other hand, is also an interesting one, to say the least. On November 22 at UFC Fight Night 57, former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will square off against top contender Cub Swanson to determine who will face Aldo for the belt next.

Despite his non-involvement in the said fight, Dillashaw is picking Swanson to win and have his rematch against Aldo.

"I like Frankie Edgar as a fighter, but Cub Swanson is a super cool dude and his stand-up gotten so much better," Dillashaw said. "We have already seen Frankie Edgar fight Aldo, it wasn't even close. He got beat by Aldo."

Dillashaw also argued that Swanson may be able to make it a more competitive fight with the claims that Aldo may not be the same fighter as he was a few years back when he was a newly-crowned champion.

"Aldo is not that aggressive fighter anymore. He's different," Dillashaw stated. "He'll let you in the fight a little bit."
