New Report Robin Williams Depression Suicide From 'Lew Body Dementia' Hallucinations, Paranoia, iPhone Reminders For Meds, No Drugs Or Alcohol
Robin Williams Depression Suicide. The tragic death of hilarious and witty actor and comedian Robin Williams still haunts those who were close to him and those who worked closely with him. The latest reports from the coroner show that Williams had 'Lew Body Dimentia,' a kind of dementia that would make the actor hallucinate. And some reports say that it was these hallucinations that led to Robin Williams Depression Suicide. The coroner also suspects that the actor was paranoid right before he died.
A RadarOnline.com report said after getting hold of an autopsy and toxicology report that besides fighting depression, addiction, anxiety and Parkinson's for the last months before he died, "Neuropathy findings in this case support the diagnosis of diffuse Lewy body dementia." The report guidelines were established by the National Institute on Aging/Alzheimer's Disease.
Williams was not aware of his dementia at the time of his death, but his restlessness and anxiety from Parkinson's kept him awake at night according to the new report. This was a reason why he was using a separate bedroom from his third wife, Susan.
The new coroner's report read via Radar said, "The subject reportedly suffered sporadically from depression for most of his adult life," according to the report. "He had a prior history of alcohol and drug abuse, but had reportedly been sober for several years. He also struggled with anxiety and paranoia in the past, but more so over the last year. Despite his long history of depression, he had no known history of suicidal ideation or behavior. In addition to his recent uptick in depression, he was recently diagnosed with early Parkinson's disease. ... He didn't mention anything about suicide following his Parkinson's diagnosis."
Contrary to several hoaxes that said Robin's iPhone had a 'goodbye' video, there was nothing on the actor's iPad, or iPhone to suggest that suicide ideation. His iPhone had several reminders for taking medication on time, while the iPad revealed he had been research some of the drugs he was taking. Toxicology analysis showed he had desmethylmirtazapine, mirtazapine, theobromine and caffeine, in his blood when he died. However, there was no reports of alcohol or drug use by the actor.
