"Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer has generated three million views in less than 24 hours from its release, as Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson's characters amped the sexual tension.

To date, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer has already recorded 4.1 million hits on YouTube and more than 2,000 comments, both positive and negative.

User Roberto Rico commented: "I don't really get why the book was so popular, and now the movie... really, what's wrong with you people? Come on, here's the story about a silly girl and a satyromaniac who likes BDSM. Nothing more."

Eman Mcman chimed in: "Bad acting and a lot of banging with some weird stuff thrown in. Yeah that's called a porno and Google will take you to the same place for free."

But Donna Samson loved the trailer as she wrote: "It gives me goosebumps EVERYWHERE ! <3"

So does Donna McGil: "Wow. Every time I see this, I get excited all over again! Counting down the days! ♡♥"

Michelle McLean, meanwhile, explained on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer release: "People, you all need to get past the sex thing and read deeper into the story! Yes, there's a lot of sex but you're missing the point of how both Christian and Ana are going out of their comfort zones to make their relationship work. Christian is giving up some of his control by engaging in 'vanilla sex'; Ana is coming out of her shell by exploring different things with Christian."

According to MailOnline, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer amped the sexual tension between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

"The two-and-a half-minute preview shows Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) finally getting down to business in the bedroom," it said. And it doesn't hold back when it comes to exploring the adult themes outlined in the book."

In one of the scenes in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer, "Anastasia is shown in a blindfold and Christian is seen undressing his beau in his bedroom, before taking her to see his 'playroom,'" MailOnline added.
