"Ash vs. The Evil Dead" TV series proves that Ash's fight with the demons haunting him (both figuratively and literally) are far from over. Sam Raimi who has carved a name for himself as a renowned director in the horror genre will take on the writing and directorial duties for this thriller flick set to air on Starz in 2015.

Bloody Disgusting reported that for "Ash vs. The Evil Dead" TV series, Raimi would pair with producer Rob Tapert. The tandem who has been working alongside each other for quite some time now would oversee the production of the 10-episode horror series whose titular role would be portrayed by Bruce Campbell.

In reprising his famous role, Campbell would once again take up his chainsaw (and other battle weapons) after evading his responsibility of facing the Evil Dead that had been unrelentingly haunting him for 30 long years. His battles would take place within 10 episodes confined into 30 minutes each.

According to Carroll County News, as Ash, Campbell would have to man up and release his inner warrior as he fights the evil dead. The actor is all fired-up for his role. He said:

"I'm really excited to bring this series to the Evil Dead fans worldwide - it's going to be everything they have been clamoring for: serious Deadite ass-kicking and plenty of outrageous humor."

Campbell is not the only one who is excited about working on "Ash vs. The Evil Dead" TV series. Raimi is also thrilled about the comeback of the "The Evil Dead." His exact quote on Carroll County News is brimming with excitement. He said:

"Bruce, Rob, and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to tell the next chapter in Ash's lame, but heroic saga. With his chainsaw arm and his 'boomstick,' Ash is back to kick some monster butt. And brother, this time there's a truckload of it."
