The movie of the titular ninja will be a start of a new beginning. According to The News Hub, Kishimoto is continuing the tale of Naruto in a new project called "Naruto's New Era Opening." Saiyan Island noted that it is in the works for Spring 2015.

Reportedly, "The Last: Naruto The Movie" is the first of many works and projects for "Naruto's New Era Opening" which celebrates the series' 15th anniversary. According to Saiyan Island, the sequel will focus on the next generation featuring the children of Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Sasuke and others.

"The Last: Naruto The Movie" directed by Tsuneo Kobayashi is said to be the first after it has launched "Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie" which opened in Japan in July 2012. This ninth film became the highest grossing film in the franchise. "The Last: Naruto The Movie" will hit theaters in Japan on December 6.

According to Anime News Network, Kishimoto revealed in an interview with The Asahi Shimbun newspaper that his own story is similar to that of Naruto's journey to become a Hokage.

He said he has that "strong sense of inferiority." Reportedly, Kishimoto, despite his initial feelings of "inferiority" was able to break new ground with story's approach to conflict when he created Naruto.

The manga series' chief character did not always recourse to physical force to takeover his enemies unless the situation calls for it.
