Floyd Mayweather news reveals Freddie Roach claiming that Manny Pacquiao "can king Floyd's ass." Pacquiao, on the other hand, believes that his existence in boxing can help make the fight happen.
As the Pacquiao camp prepares for their fight against former WBO light welterweight champion and undefeated fighter Chris Algieri this coming weekend, questions related to "Money Mayweather" never eluded them. Rightfully so, since the bout had been talked about as far back as 2009, when both men were younger and much more in their prime.
Floyd Mayweather news now reveals that "Pacman's" trainer Freddie Roach once again took shots at the current pound-for-pound boxing king in a recent interview with Graham Besinger of Yahoo! Sports.
"The last time I went to one of his fights I fell asleep, so I think he is boring and I think Manny will kick his ass," Roach claimed.
Furthermore, the six-time Boxing Writers Association of America Hall-of-Famer predicted that Mayweather will continue to avoid Pacquiao, based on the unpopular opinion that he is scared.
"I'm not the most optimistic person in the world," he added. "I think he's scared of Manny Pacquiao and I think he's gonna keep running."
Floyd Mayweather news also reveals that according to Manny Pacquiao, the fight not happening is a bigger loss to fans all around the world. That being said, he has left the end of the deal to the Mayweather camp.
"I think it's more hurt for the fans of boxing - the fans that really want to see that fight. I've been waiting for that so many years - to make that fight happen," Pacquiao said. "It's up to him. We're not closing our door."
Pacquiao also affirms that the possibility of the mega fight happening will be there, as long as both superstar boxers are in active competition.
"As long as I'm still in boxing and he's still in boxing, there is still a possibility to make the fight happen," he added.
