When she isn't figuring in a rumored love triangle between herself, her ex husband Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and Mockingjay superstar Jennifer Lawrence, Gwyneth Paltrow is courting controversy for her lifestyle website. Gywneth Paltrow's Goop, the lifestyle website that has invited ridicule from all sorts of camps is now making headlines again because of its recently released holiday gift guide.

So what is all the fuss about? Well, the holiday gift guide from the Iron Man star features some ridiculously expensive items that the only truly wealthy will probably be able to afford. In her message Gwyneth Paltrow wrote on the Goop website, "This year, we decided to shake things up a little bit, and organize our annual gift guide by category - after all, it's pretty easy to identify people by a love of entertaining, art, or, well, if you're like everyone at Goop, their deep and unabiding affection for jewelry," the actress said. "We tried to keep as much as possible at the $100 mark, though there are some splurges on here for your nearest and dearest. Plus, a girl can always dream."

Among those "dream" items on Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop are a gold plated juicer worth $4,739. There is also a crystal glasses worth $495, and incredibly, a vase worth $12,000. On the jewelry front, the website recommends a $7,600 Cartier bracelet.

It will be recalled that the actress figured in a feud with the original lifestyle guru, Martha Stewart when the latter unleashed some scathing remarks for Gywneth Paltrow and Goop. Martha Steward reportedly said, "She just needs to be quiet. She's a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn't be trying to be Martha Stewart.

Gwyneth then fired back by hiring a former boss at Martha Stewart's company. Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop CEO, Lisa Gersh, used to be the CEO of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.
