Will we see Tom Hiddleston as Loki again in the third Thor instalment?

According to Digital Spy (backed by Hiddleston's appearance at Marvel's Comic Con 2014 panel), we will definitely get to see the trickster god in Ragnarok again. Marvel producer Kevin Feige already confirmed Hiddleston's involvement in Thor 3 as well as 'Avengers: Infinity Wars.'

Moreover, Cinemablend also claims that Hiddleston hinted at a possible love interest for Thor's adopted brother way back to one year ago.

He reportedly told Movie Web back then that Loki, according to Norse myth, has a wife named Sigyn who seems to be quite devoted to him. Whether Marvel will use for the movie, on the other hand, is totally up in the air.

"There's obviously no script or anything. When I read the comic books, I thought it was an interesting way to go," the 33-year-old heartthrob said.

Hiddleston explains that Sigyn actually "protects him from a poison serpent who is dripping venom into his mouth."

He adds that Loki's dedicated wife "has a bowl over his mouth and of course the bowl keeps filling up and she has to empty it, and so his damnation could be interesting."

According to legend, the goddess Skaði sentenced Loki to be tortured by snake venom which doesn't kill him but would still give him violent convulsions.

If Marvel chooses to follow the actual myth, will we see how Tom Hiddleston as Loki meet and fall in love with Sigyn?

The British actor believes that Loki's character could be a rich source of material for Marvel.

"Loki is a character who's existed in popular consciousness for 3,000 years, so there are many, many iterations I could explore..." He said. "It's just a question of whether audiences would want to see him again."

According to Cinemablend, Signy actually holds a significant part for the start of Ragnarok. When she leaves for awhile to dispose of the venom from the bowl, the snake's poison finally manages to reach the traitorous god's mouth making him convulse in pain. He eventually escapes, subsequently starting the all-God war, 'Ragnarok.'

Who do you think should play Sigyn, should she appear in 'Thor: Ragnarok?' Do you want Tom Hiddleston as Loki develop a love story with someone in the next sequel?
