The latest in the Blake Lively baby news revealed the gender of the "Gossip Girl" star and husband Ryan Reynolds' first child.

According to a report from In Touch Weekly, Blake Lively's baby will be a girl.

An insider revealed: "She's having a girl and is very excited about it."

"Friends have even started buying her little girl's clothing," the source added.

In Touch Weekly recalled that the Preserve founder herself has previously shared that she hopes to have daughters in the future. She gushed: "I hope to have a few girls one day, because I have some amazing shoes and bags and stories that need to be appreciated!"

Recent Blake Lively baby news revealed that the "Gossip Girl" star is already planning her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds.

According to a report from E!Online, Blake Lively being happily pregnant has a lot to do with her supportive husband, whom she met while filming the movie "Green Lantern".

A source said the celebrity couple is "so excited" for the arrival of their first child. "Ryan and Blake are in full-on baby mode right now," a source said.

"They are so excited they are having a baby and are happy Blake's had a pretty easy pregnancy," the insider narrated.

The source also revealed Blake Lively pregnant news to E!Online: "(Blake's pregnancy has been) so easy that she's saying she wants to get pregnant really soon after she pops this baby out!"

The blond stunner is also still trying to stay fit while pregnant by "doing yoga and going on walks."

"Ryan is being such a sweet hubby, he's giving her foot and back rubs constantly! He jokes that she doesn't even have to ask anymore, he just automatically does it," the source told E!Online.

The insider also revealed Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's plans to raise the baby "normally".

"They both have talked a lot about raising the baby out of L.A. and giving their kids a normal childhood: Playing outside, having a puppy, catching lightning bugs..they want their kids to experience all of that," the insider said.
