"Duck Dynasty" returns to A&E on Wednesday, November 19 at 9pm.

The reality show was feared to be cancelled due to a decline in ratings. When "Till Duck Do Us Part" premiered, almost 12 million viewers tuned in. The success of the special hasn't been duplicated ever since.

However, "Duck Dynasty" season 6 had an average rating of 4.3M per episode and as The Hollywood Reporter puts it, "Duck Dynasty" remains to be the most-watched reality series on cable TV.

"Duck Dynasty" season 7 updates from Duck Commander employee John Godwin claimed that the upcoming run has some episodes shot overseas. The overseas location was eventually revealed to be in Scotland.

As TV Ruckus reported, "In the [Duck Dynasty] Season 7 premiere, Willie takes a business trip to Scotland to expand the duck call business and brings the entire family along so they can reconnect with their Scottish roots. But when Willie organizes a bus tour to trace his family heritage, he discovers much more than he expected. Meanwhile, Jase brings a group of people to the Highland Games and winds up participating, while Jep and Jessica try to sneak away for a romantic getaway, only to find themselves with Uncle Si in tow."

Despite the new episodes, fans can expect the same old Robertson clan. The family has been often criticized for their views and faith.

In a recent interview, Alan Robertson who's also a pastor compared the United States with the Nazis after Houston pastors were ordered to submit their sermons ahead of time so that the Mayor of Houston, who is openly gay, can review them.

“When I first heard about this and when you and I talked, I was just like, is this 2014 America or is this 1930s Germany that we’re living in? I mean, it was shocking and appalling,” Roberston said to CNSNews.com

“Let’s look at human civilization and go back at all the great cultures that rose up, like the Romans or others, and it [sin] just weighs in on itself and it destroys. It becomes such a weighted-down culture in its own seeking of personal pleasure or personal gain, and then it collapsed. It’s happened every time, up to now. Do I think it will happen to America? Absolutely.”
