Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett's relationship feud was no secret to the public. In fact it is aired in WEtv's "Kendra On Top." Is the couple showing the truth or just acting up or lying about it? According to Hollywood Life, the former "Playboy" model's mom, Patti Wilkinson is "amazed" at how people think reality TV is true.
Patti took her sentiments to Twitter on November 14. She tweeted: "Amazes me how people watch reality tv shows & think it's all real & true. Smh c'mon people!"
Hollywood Life reported that the reality star's mother didn't clarify which part of the story she's talking about but when a follower told her she sounded bitter, Patti said, "Well when your own daughter tells lies about you for ratings I guess I am."
Reportedly, she might refer to the things that her daughter told about her or maybe she's referring to Hank's alleged affair.
Could it be possible that the reality show is airing a scripted and not a real affair? It has been previously reported that the couple struggled to stay on air in recent years. In 2012, Wilkinson's solo show Kendra was cut from E! because of falling ratings. WE tv launched Kendra On Top after that. Radar Online noted that "ratings for the last season grew 46% over Season One, but the scandal will surely help them maintain momentum."
Reportedly, despite the controversy, Kendra hasn't filed for a divorce yet. Celebrity website Hollywood Life noted that Kendra is considering having an affair in an effort to get over her situation.
"Kendra was planning to go on the show just to get some time to think, but she and Hank have been fighting so much. She realized she needs to do something drastic like maybe sleep with someone else...There's a part of her that thinks maybe the only way to get over this is to take a hall pass from her marriage. That way it will even the playing field," a source told the website.
