Natalie Dormer Hunger Games: 'Game Of Thrones' Actress Will Root For Brienne Of Tarth For The 'Hunger Games'-'Game Of Thrones' Crossover; Describes Her TV And Movie Characters As Manipulative!

Fans of the popular HBO TV series already know her as Margaery Tyrell in Game Of Thrones, but it looks like her breakout role will be in the movies. Much buzz has surrounded Natalie Dormer's Hunger Games role as Cressida, where her character will have its debut in the upcoming The Hunger Games: Mockinghay Part 1.

First off there is her shaved head -- a radical move for the actress. Playing Cressida, a character who was originally from the oppressive Capitol, but has defected to join in on the rebellion headed by the Mockingjay herself, Katniss Everdeen. Natalie Dormer in The Hunger Games looks completely badass with her shaved head and sporting some pretty scary looking tattoos on that bare part of her head. But according to Natalie, she knows who she would root for if the Hunger Games were real, and it's not her character!

During an AOL BUILD question and answer session, Natalie Dormer was sure of who to win The Hunger Games! "Brienne of Tarth, because like Katniss Everdeen, she's a woman who is playing what would traditionally previously be given as a male role," Dormer said. "She's had to work extra hard to get where she is. She's full of determination, like Katniss." Brienne of Tarth of course is a character from HBO's Game Of Thrones.

As for her own character Cressida, Natalie Dormer can see some similarities between the warrior and the princess that she plays in Game of Thrones. At first glance of course, Margaery Tyrell seems very different from Natalie Dormer's Hunger Games character Cressida. During a recently concluded Reddit AMA, Natalie had this to say: "Cressida's out there in the field, whereas everything Margaery does is sitting around behind closed doors," she said. "They're both very PR-savvy, that's what they have in common, they both know how to manipulate hearts & minds."
