After the successful run of X-Men Days Of Future Past both at the box office and with critics alike, there is much buzz about the next X-Men movie. And because the film is supposed to be set back in the 80s, where our mutant heroes will be much younger than they were in their previous reincarnations, the search is on for X-Men Apocalypse cast who will play mutants like Jean Grey and Cyclops. Of course we already have James McAvoy as the young Professor Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as the young Magneto, and Jennifer Lawrence as Raven/Mystique.

According to The Wrap, there are already frontrunners for the roles of young Jean Grey and Cyclops. And they are some of the most promising young names in Hollywood! Foremost the X-Men Apocalypse cast race for Jean Grey are Chloe Grace Moretz, Elle Fanning, and Hailee Steinfeld, three of the most bankable young actresses in Hollywood.

Meanwhile for the role of the young Scott Summers or Cyclops, Ben Hardy (East Enders), Charlie Rowe (The Golden Compass, Never Let Me Go) and Timothee Chalamet (Interstellar) are reportedly in talks to win this part of the X-Men Apocalypse cast.

This new X-Men movie will reportedly be set set in Egypt after a long, and bloody war. The current X-Men cast of Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy are all expected to be back. In fact, news from several weeks ago from The Hollywood reporter said that the X-Men Apocalypse 2016 Mystique and Michael Fassbender's Magneto involved in a possible romantic liaison. According to The Hollywood Reporter, " A source who has seen the script says Fox will take full advantage of Lawrence and Fassbender's star power, placing Mystique and Magneto's romance front and center."
