After releasing an official movie poster, Universal finally unveiled the sequel's first video teaser via The Ellen Degeneres Show's Youtube channel.
"I won't say anything about [the relationship between Jesse and Beca], but the girls are now graduating seniors," 'The Hunger Games' star, Elizabeth Banks, who is making her directorial debut with the 'Pitch Perfect' sequel, previously shared.
In the trailer, the Barden Bellas enter a secret society for acapella groups (complete with fart noises as the password and acapella competitions), go on a camping trip, and just basically reminisce about the competitions they had before graduating from college and ultimately moving on to other things.
Before leaving, though, Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and the rest of the girls take on the biggest challenge of their acapella career!
The Bellas join the Olympic-like World Championships for acapella, which apparently hates American teams ("The world hates us!"), and face off with the world's best groups.
Along the way, they welcome new recruits (including 'Tru Grit' star Hailee Steinfeld) and have them slide down the stairs as initiation.
The 'Pitch Perfect 2' trailer also features several cameos from unexpected guest celebrities!
Five players from the Green Bay Packers (offensive linemen David Bakhtiari, T.J. Lang, Josh Sitton and Don Barclay as well as linebacker Clay Matthews) join in on the fun.
Adam Devine, who is best known for his recurring role as Andy the "manny" in the Emmy-winning sitcom 'Modern Family,' is also seen flirting with Fat Amy in an acapella party.
"It's a big responsibility, but I was really excited to take it on and try to do it confidently," Banks told ABC News about the responsibility of directing the film. "[The original] was lightning in a bottle and it was such a surprise to see how the movie was received."
She also added that "this time around we were really aiming to do that again and be pure in our intention to tell more of the story of these characters that people have fallen in love with."
The new film will hit cinemas on May 15, 2015.
