One of the more popular segments in TV host Jimmy Kimmel's late show program is the part where he gathers celebrities to read out loud some of the more horrific things that are Tweeted about them. The video series Celebrities Read Mean Tweets is impressive in that he has been able to bring together a diverse group of celebrities to tell the camera some insults that fans have been saying about them.

The group of celebrities that have been on Jimmy Kimmel's Celebrities Read Mean Tweets segment are diverse. There are A-List Hollywood actors, NBA superstars, NFL athletes. musical icons, and TV legends. In the video description on Youtube, the following words are found "People are quick to tweet unflattering things, but it's important to remember that everyone has feelings."

The most recent installment of Jimmy Kimmel's Celebrities Read Mean Tweets video series has some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry reading hilarious, horrific, nonsensical, and just plain mean tweets about them. The latest batch of celebrities include Gwyneth Paltrow, Lena Dunham, Gerard Butler, Ty Burrell, Bob Newhart, Britney Spears, Geena Davis, Chris Pratt, Chloe Grace Moretz, Scott Foley, Michael Chiklis, Ted Danson, John Stamos, Lisa Kudrow and Adam Sandler.

And though this is reportedly the eighth batch of celebrities to read mean tweets, the segment is still as popular as ever, with some very on point criticisms that are phrased in some of the meanest ways possible. An example: "Geena Davis is real man's man," or when a Tweeter described John Stamos' belly button as "gross" and the actor lifted his shirt up and had to concede that this was, in fact, true.

Of course, we know that some of these Tweets did not come from actual mean fans, but have been written by Jimmy Kimmel's writers themselves for the comedic purpose that they would serve.
