Lindsay Lohan news revealed that the "Mean Girls" star is planning a major career comeback. According to a feature from Radar Online, the once troubled actress already has three new movie offers lined up following reports that she has gotten over her issues with alcohol and drugs.
A source shared Lindsay Lohan news: "Lindsay is doing better than she has in years!"
"Lindsay is determined to be a movie star again, " the insider shared.
The Radar Online report detailed: "Lindsay plans to return home to her family in New York for a bit and is then heading to L.A. because she has three big movies that she is getting ready to star in."
Lindsay Lohan has been based in London for months, where she stars in a soon-to-conclude West End play entitled "Speed The Plow". While some are worried that returning to New York might make the former child star relapse from her drug and alcohol problems, a source claiming to be a close friend of the actress said: "She is still sober and we are all very supportive... We always will be."
"She has allowed all of her old friends back into her life," the insider added.
In line with Lindsay Lohan comeback news, a report from Entertainment Weekly narrated details about the 10th anniversary of the actress' hit film "Mean Girls"
Lindsay Lohan admitted that she wanted to take on the role of queen bee Regina George. "I was still 17 years old and I wanted to be the cool girl on set," the former child star said.
The now 28-years-old actress eventually ended up playing new girl Cady Heron. The role of Regina George was then given to Rachel McAdams.
Other controversies addressed during the "Mean Girls" reunion feature in Entertainment Weekly was Lindsay Lohan's then-feud with fellow teen star Hilary Duff.
Tina Fey narrated: "There was one day where she tried to explain to Amy (Poehler) and me her beef with Hilary Duff, but we couldn't crack it... But we were pretending we could follow it."
