The latest LA Lakers news has Kobe Bryant talking about chemistry issues with Jeremy Lin as fans of the purple and gold are still waiting for Linsanity to erupt.
Courtside reporter Serena Winters dished on the latest LA Lakers news as she wrote on Twitter: "Kobe said chemistry with J. Lin is 'fine.' 'He & I are playing two-man action a lot & trying to take advantage of the defense that way.'"
When he was brought in from the Rockets, coach Byron Scott said that Jeremy Lin will anchor the second unit as two-time MVP Steve Nash will man the starting job. But when Steve Nash went down, Linsanity was thrust into the starring role.
"Although Kobe and Lin are still figuring out each other's style, the two are starting to develop nice chemistry on the court," said Lakers Nation. "Earlier this season that bond did not seem to be there, but as the season progresses the two are beginning to get on the same page. In order for the Lakers to advance as team and possibly make a push for the postseason, the team will need to have their starting backcourt in sync."
But that chemistry has not translated on the court as the Los Angeles Lakers' record is at the paltry 3-11.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Lin is still trying to find the balance between scoring and dishing, when Linsanity occurred because he stopped thinking and the coach just allowed him to sow chaos on the court. The point guard is actually shooting a very good clip of 43.8% from the deep three, with a field goal percentage of 54.8%, which is actually higher than the 41.7% effective field goal percentage from Kobe Bryant.
Yet, most LA Lakers news reports revealed Kobe Bryant has taken 200 more shots compared to Jeremy Lin this year, which says a lot about Linsanity's mindset.
