It's the time of the year to bring out the turkey and get together with family you have not seen all year! Thanksgiving is always a busy and wonderful time of the year, but what would you do if you get too stuffed from all the food, and all the catching up with family members have been exhausted? Plop down in front of your TV and tune in to some Thanksgiving week TV holiday specials that would surely put you in a cherry mood once again.

The special Thanksgiving episodes and movies officially start airing on Wednesday, November 26, and it kicks off with what else but A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving which starts at 8 p.m. on ABC. For a little adult fun and laughs, tune in to NBC at 9 p.m. for Saturday Night Live's Thanksgiving special. But if you're a fan of the new Peter Pan show starring Allison Williams as the boy who did not want to grow up, there's The Making of Peter Pan Live! on NBC at 8 p.m.

Meanwhile for Thursday's Thanksgiving week TV holiday special, there's the annual Thank you, America! With Robin Roberts where the ABC anchor Robin Roberts scours the entire country for those "unsung heroes, and celebrates them with surprises that will profoundly change their lives." As for Friday, treat your kids to an early Christmas treat with Frosty The Snowman on CBS at 9, Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer airs 8 p.m. on the CW channel, while Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special, and Merry Madagascar will screen at 9 and 9:30 respectively also at CW.

Saturday's specials include The Flight Before Christmas at CBS airing at 8 p.m., which is followed right after by The Story of Santa Claus at 9. But if you're a fan of Grumpy Cat, the internet sensation has his own Thanksgiving week TV holiday special called Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever.

On Sunday, there's A Christmas Mystery at 9 p.m. on Ion and Comedy Central's hilarious All-Star Non-Denominational Christmas Special at 10 pm.
