Sarasota High School student Alexa Nicole De Armas was reportedly arrested on Friday for leading a prostitution ring allegedly made up of students from different schools, authorities stated, according to the NY Daily News.
Before the prostitution ring was busted, the 17-year-old Florida student reportedly made plans over the summer to run a business prostituting the teenagers from Venice and Riverview high schools out to people who would be willing to pay in money and alcohol, according to the Herald Tribune.
"Why pimp out old hoes when I have fresh young hoes I can give up for money?" De Armas wrote in a Facebook message.
She added, "As long as I'm getting paid I'm trafficking all these (expletive)."
The Florida student was reportedly setting prices at $50 to $70 to perform oral sex and $100 for intercourse with a virgin. Profits made from the prostitution ring were reportedly split 40% with the girls who engaged in the business.
21-year-old John Mosher, who allegedly paid $40 and a bottle of liquor to have sex with a 15-year-old girl, was also reportedly arrested. The homeless dishwasher reportedly stated that "she told Mosher she did not want to have sexual intercourse with him to which he disregarded and forcefully held her against the wall of the pool shed building, restricting her movement and ability to flee," according to a police report.
De Armas was reportedly looking to expand her business as four girls at Venice High School told authorities that they were approached by a male classmate and the teenage madam about "joining their prostitution ring," according to the media outlet Modvive.
Police Capt. Tom Mattmuller reportedly told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune that they are anticipating make another arrest today.
