"Jersey Shore" cast Jenni "Jwoww" Farley recently got a new tattoo: the name and footprints of her daughter, Meilani. According to the report from Entertainment Tonight, the first-time-mom's boyfriend and baby daddy, Roger Mathews, also got identical ink.
The proud parents gave birth to their first child, Meilani Alexandra, last July.
"Jersey Shore" cast Jwoww placed the said tattoo on her upper back, while Roger Mathews chose to have it near his ribs.
The 28-year-old mother uploaded Instagram photos of their new tattoos, captioned: "We're officially corny cute parents, lol."
The former party girl explained, reported by Entertainment Tonight: "I just want (my daughter) to have a normal life."
She added: "I want her to pick and choose the routes that she really wants to go. (I'd like to see her) save for a college education because I would hope that one day she would just love to go to college and be a normal girl."
Named Jenni Farley in real life, JWoww revealed their baby's first photos in a feature published via In Touch Weekly, which also detailed how the MTV reality show star is adjusting from being a party girl to a hands-on mom.
JWoww admitted that she and Roger Mathews cannot stop staring at their first child. "Meilani is the most perfect baby," she said in the In Touch Weekly feature. The new mom also explained that Meilani's name "means 'heavenly flower' in Hawaiian."
The "Jersey Shore" couple admit that they are still coping with their new roles as Meilani's parents, saying they are hands-on with everything since they still don't have any help.
"We're learning as we go," said JWoww.
JWoww also said Roger's round-the-clock assistance enables her to take better care of Meilani. "I do diapers and get up with Jenni as much as I can at night," Roger Mathew said. "I think it's only fair. My family is my priority."
As with all first-time parents, "Jersey Shore" cast JWoww admitted they are "a bit" sleep deprived. In spite of this, the former "Jersey Shore" star says she's "never been more content," and that "having Meilani really changed my life in the best possible way".
