Teresa Giudice will be heading to prison on January 5 to serve her 15-month sentence after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, according to People magazine.
Even before she's begun to serve her prison sentence, Teresa Giudice has already landed a job for when she returns by making a deal with Bravo to host a cooking show, according to the U.K's The Daily Mail.
Aside from the new cooking show, the reality television show star will reportedly be appearing part-time on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" as well. With her cooking show, the Housewife could reportedly earn about $2 million a year, which is expected to help with caring for her kids while her husband, Joe Giudice, serves his 41-month prison sentence when she returns.
Teresa Giudice has reportedly already published three cookbooks, including "Skinny Italian," "Fabulicious" and "Fabulicious! Fast & Fit." It looks like people will actually tune in to watch the recipes in these cookbooks come to life as the mother-of-four has reportedly been a "ratings winner," according to network insiders.
"Teresa and Bravo have been taking this time to plan a big media event when she is released from prison either late next year or early 2016," the insider stated.
The source continued, "Teresa has been so popular with the viewers that they know this is going to be an amazing event. They are going to stay in touch with Teresa while she is in prison by taping phone calls and if possible, they will do jailhouse interviews with her."
Before she serves her prison sentence, Giudice is reportedly "going about life with as much normalcy as possible," said a friend of the cookbook author.
Other than preparing for Thanksgiving as usual by "cooking and decorating," Giudice is reportedly trying to spend as much time as possible with her daughters, Gia, Gabriela, Milania and Audriana.
"She doesn't even have a nanny. Her life is her kids and maintaining a happy home. Every day she's trying to make them such a priority," the friend stated.
Another source added, "She cares about her daughters more than anything else in the world. It's put her in a difficult position, so she is just doing the best that she can and enjoying these moments with them."
