Nick Jonas "Kingdom" TV series reportedly got a renewal from Direct TV. As a matter of fact, Direct TV signed for 2 more seasons (20 more episodes)!

Since Nick Jonas "Kingdom" TV series has extended its life, does it mean that the show's ratings is skyrocketting?

The creator/showrunner of the MMA drama series are Byron Balasco and Endemol Studios. The production is scheduled to begin in spring for the new order. The first 10 episodes set to air at DirecTV's Audience Network in fall 2015, and the following 10 slated for 2016.

"Kingdom" official plot reads, "Alvey and Lisa are struggling to keep their gym, Navy Street, afloat. Their best hope is Alvey's son Nate, an up and coming fighter. Jay, Alvey's other son, is on the outs with his father. When Lisa's ex and former MMA champ, Ryan, shows up, complications arise."

About the ratings, DirecTV does not disclose ratings information. They only said that the rookie "has proven to be one of Audience Network's most popular shows of all time."

Episode 7 "Animator/Annihilator" showed the brawling scene between Alvey Kulina (Frank Grillo) and Ryan Wheeler (Matt Lauria). After that brawling, Alvey called the promoter and he told the promoter that Ryan is ready to fight.

Meanwhile, Nick Jonas' role Nate Kulina seemed gave a hint that he's a gay in episode 7. Based on the recap and somewhat review from TV Recaps, while Nate's family were having a shopping, there's a dude who approached him and that gay was used to his boyfriend. The Black Lot also has same theory. Based on their report, "after six episodes of the drama, we've only seen Nate in bed with his female physical therapist and nothing overtly leading viewers to think Nate may have a bisexual or gay bone in his body."

In episode 7, Nate mom, Chritina (Joanna Going) showed some psychological issue or emotional control issue as she usually got mad easily.

If you've watched the episode 7 and the previous episodes of "Kingdom" TV series, do you think that Nate is really a gay?
