"Tom Clancy's The Division" release date 2015 for Xbox One and PS4 updates still fail to mention the exact launch of the much anticipated RPG game.
Despite the unconfirmed release date, fans are very much excited to get their hands on the new release that will reportedly give players the ultimate RPG experience.
In an interview with IGN, Ubisoft art director Rodrigo Cortes shared:
"We want to show gamers the game they will end up playing. We don't want to sell a fantasy."
"For us, one of the biggest challenges is figuring out how to tell people how much of an RPG it is. It has shooting, and is shooter-like. If you look at it, that's the whole point because we want it to be very immersive," he added.
"But it's not a shooter with some RPG stats tacked on. It's actually a proper RPG from the very beginning. There's deep progression when it comes to loot, gear, and levels and you'll be able to customize every skill, do exactly what you want, and choose roles. So that's probably the biggest communication challenge. We want to make clear to everyone that it's an RPG."
While the game is primarily intended to be played with other gamers online, recent "Tom Clancy's The Division" release date 2015 for Xbox One and PS4 updates claim that players can still opt to play solo.
"You are never forced to do any grouping or any PvP. You can complete the whole game yourself. You will see other players in the social areas but you don't have to engage with any of them. You can play almost as a single-player game but it's always online."
"We took the decision early on to create the experience to compliment 1-4 players. We don't want an emotional experience ruined by a guy with a weird name dancing in front of you," Cortes explained.
Here is the official description of "Tom Clancy's The Division" from Ubisoft:
"The Division agents are trained to operate independently of command, as all else fails. Fighting to prevent the fall of society, the agents will find themselves caught up in an epic conspiracy to combat not only the effects of a manmade virus, but also the rising threat of those behind it."
