Shia LaBeouf Garners LIttle Sympathy On Twitter After Rape Claims: ‘Grow Up, You Silly Little Man’

Shia LaBeouf is making headlines again after stating that he was whipped and raped by a woman during his #IAMSORRY performance art installation in L.A. earlier this year, according to USA Today.

Despite the horrific claims, Shia LaBeouf has garnered little sympathy from the public based off people's responses on Twitter.

"Shia LaBeouf's claim to have been 'raped' is truly pathetic & demeans real rape victims. Grow up, you silly little man," wrote Piers Morgan on his Twitter account.

Morgan continued, "People are actually defending Shia LaBeouf. The world's gone mad. He's invented a supposed 'rape' for cheap PR - utterly shameful."

Fellow Twitter user Molly McCook commented, "The more I read about Shia LaBeouf the more confused I get."

The "Fury" actor gave an extensive description of his experience during an interview with Dazed & Confused magazine.

"One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me," stated the 28-year-old.

He added, "There were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with disheveled hair and smudged lipstick. It was no good, not just for me but her man as well. On top of that my girl (actress Mia Goth) was in line to see me, because it was Valentine's Day and I was living in the gallery for the duration of the event -- we were separated for five days, no communication. So it really hurt her as well, as I guess the news of it traveled through the line. When she came in she asked for an explanation, and I couldn't speak, so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently. It was painful."

Shia LaBeouf is reportedly currently undergoing treatment for addiction following his June arrest for disorderly conduct and harassment after he disrupted a performance of Cabaret with obscene language, according to The Guardian.
