Patrick Stewart upcoming movie "Match" is set to launch on January 14, 2015. The synopsis of this 2015 film reads:
"When Tobi is interviewed by a graduate student, Lisa (Carla Gugino) about his days as a performer, he is forced to confront painful decisions he thought he had left in the past.
With the fate of Lisa’s emotionally shattered husband Mike (Matthew Lillard) in the balance, the three characters struggle to find a truthful, common ground, uncertain if their brief but intensely intimate connection will result in disaster and regret - or healing and liberation."
What makes this movie anticipating is, audience will see "X-Men's" Professor X dancing ballet. Stewart's upcoming film will follow the story of the collision of the trio ( Patrick Stewart with Carla Gugino and Matthew Lillard). It begins with Gugino’s student interviewing Stewart’s Juilliard professor for her dissertation on the history of dance in 1960s New York. The results of the interview leads into motives being revealed.
The official trailer shows tension and the process of revealing the inner lives of three very troubled characters.
As per Slash Film, "same reviewers were unambiguously enthusiastic about Stewart’s performance in it. “Stewart is a nonstop delight,” gushed TheWrap. “Stewart is a treasure,” raved The Playlist. HuffPo even tried to get some Oscar buzz going for Stewart with its headline, though Stewart’s probably out of luck."
