Chris Brown is still dating Karrueche Tran, as the "X" singer's girlfriend clarified that she was only teasing about being "single again" to promote a new project.
The "BET 106 And Park" host and aspiring model tweeted "Looks like I'm a single lady again" last November 26, causing fans to think that she and the R&B star have ended their five year relationship.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, the petite beauty clarified by tweeting: "I was talking about the show Single Ladies.. I just came back from shooting an episode lol gee wiz."
An insider explained: "Clearly, it was a joke. It was Karrueche's way of updating her friends and fans on her new gig and trying to break the internet with that mean message all at the same time."
The source added: "The minute she posted that, she knew what she had started. It's all in fun and games. She got a good laugh out of it."
News of Chris Brown still dating Karrueche Tran followed an earlier report from Hollywood Life that revealed the couple's desire to have a baby.
A source is claiming that the R&B star's model girlfriend "wishes she was pregnant".
The source told Hollywood Life: "That would make her life complete at this stage: To be with the man of her dreams, to have his baby, and to bring a little bundle of joy into the world and be able to raise her and be a full-on mother - Karrueche would be living a dream."
Chris Brown is also reportedly not just dating Karrueche Tran: the two have also supposedly already moved in together. The insider added that the possibility of the couple having a baby is now higher: "She's already living a dream because she gets Chris every day."
"Despite all the problems, there's a lot of good in him and she sees that and loves that," the insider added, reported by Hollywood Life.
However, the two reportedly still want to get married first. "A baby would be the next step in their relationship but that's way down the line. She wants to be a mother but that isn't something she and Chris are seriously planning now."
The insider pointed out: "They're both too young. The timing isn't right and she's old school and would want things to be in order first - like a ring on her finger!
