Cameron Diaz and boyfriend Benjie Madden fought off the cold by holding hands in New York City this past Saturday. Meanwhile, the Good Charlotte guitarist reportedly gave the "Sex Tape" actress a very luxurious gift.

A snap of the couple was published on Us Weekly as they tried to ward off the freezing weather with warm clothes.

"Diaz donned a gray scarf and black coat, while her rocker beau, 35, opted for a sweatshirt and leather vest," the magazine said. She had her scarf around her neck as she was obviously freezing.

A source earlier told Us: "Billie has been gushing about Cameron's new relationship. She absolutely loves Benji and she hopes this is the man her daughter will finally settle down with."

Last month, the OK! Magazine, as reported by Heat World, reignited the Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden wedding rumors when it reported that the 42-year-old requested Lionel Ritchie's daughter to take care of the preparations.

Nicole Ritchie is married to Joel Madden, Benji's twin brother.

"Cam has never been a big fan of weddings, so she has no idea where to start," a source told the magazine.

Allegedly, Nicole Ritchie already scouted the Napa Valley in California as one of the potential locations for Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden's wedding.

Meanwhile, Contact Music, as shared IBN Live reported that Cameron Diaz was gifted by her boyfriend Benjie Madden with a very expensive black opal valued at $25,000.

The rocker reportedly purchased the gemstone after noticing how its color matched her blue eyes.

"The 35-year-old rocker reportedly missed the 'Sex Tape' actress so much while he was touring Australia recently that he splashed out on the rare gemstone to show her how much she means to him," the site said.

The source told Contact Music that Cameron Diaz appreciated boyfriend Benji Madden's gesture and thinks that the gemstone "was the most beautiful thing she's ever seen. She absolutely loves it."
