9-Year-Old supermodel Kristina Pimenova has been called "the most beautiful girl in the world" with her long brown locks and big blue eyes.
The Moscow-born young beauty reportedly started modelling at three years old after hanging around her mother, Glikeriya Shirokova (also a model), during photoshoots. She tried modelling after being continuously called "adorable" and has been having "a blast ever since and is still loving every minute of it" according to her mother.
She has modelled for Vogue, Armani, and Roberto Cavalli since then.
However, photos of Pimenova on Facebook and Instagram (which her mother monitors and maintains) have been causing uproar amongst concerned parents and netizens.
"My child would never ever ever ever ever wear shorts this tight and small ever," one of her over two million followers commented after a photo of the little girl wearing very short shorts while playing badminton was posted on Instagram
"Parents like you are the reason why girls grow up to have many issues... also there are so many sick people out [there] that look at these in sexual ways," another posted after Shirokova shared a picture of her daughter showing off her long legs.
Another follower posted on Instagram, "She hasn't even hit puberty."
The Russian pre-teen supermodel has even been proposed to, according to The New York Daily News.
Amidst the online protest, however, the 9-year-old supermodel's mother insists that she keeps her daughter's social media accounts PG-rated.
"All the content shared on this page should be kid friendly," one of the set of rules on Facebook says. "Any video or pictures posted here that is not appropiate (sic.) for Kristina's age will be deleted and whoever posted it will be blocked."
She also asked fans not to use Pimenova's photos for role playing and to post only positive comments for the little girl.
Do you think the 9-year-old supermodel's mother should not post photos of her daughter showing off her long legs? Is the little girl's social media account really a "[pedophile's] dream?"
