Teresa Giudice will report to the FCI Danbury minimum security camp in Connecticut on January 5 to begin her 15-month prison sentence.
Although the facility has reportedly been dubbed "camp cupcake," Teresa Giudice will still be living a completely different life during her time away from her four daughters and hair extensions.
"She will be told when to get up, when to go to sleep, when she can shower, when she can eat, and when she has visits, all of that," stated Beatrice Codianni, who spent 6 1/2 years at the facility.
She added, "It's still prison."
The Danbury camp is reportedly where Leona Helmsley, Lauryn Hill and "Orange Is The New Black" author Piper Kermin served time, according to the website Northjersey.com.
The most difficult part about being in prison for Teresa Giudice is having to spend over a year away from her daughters. Giudice's daughters and others on her list of visitors must reportedly go through an approval process before they are able to see the former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star.
Teresa Giudice might reportedly have to go through what Kermin had described in her book after visits - strip searches that include a squat and cough drill to make sure she hasn't been slipped contraband. Her time after visits from her daughters may be even more difficult for the cookbook author.
"You don't get to tuck your children in at night, and when you lay down to go to sleep at night, you have to think about that. And the rest of this becomes nonsense," stated Giudice's former legal crisis counselor Wendy Feldman.
There had been reports that despite the 42-year-old's recent prison sentence, she would have a job when she returned as a cooking show with Bravo was reportedly in the works, according to The Inquisitr. However, a rep for the reality television star reportedly told Radar Online that the claims are "not true."
"Teresa hasn't been offered any new projects with Bravo. In fact, there is a lot of bad feeling where Bravo and Teresa are concerned. The network feels used, and was stunned Teresa said in court documents that the show was a sham," stated an inside source.
