Susan Boyle gained international attention when she sang “I Dreamed A Dream” on “Britain’s Got Talent” back in 2009.
The timid soul that grasped our hearts with her perfect rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream” has now met the “perfect gentleman” at age 53.
Susan Boyle reportedly met a Connecticut doctor that she met on her recent U.S. tour who may visit her in Scotland in the near future, according to The Associated Press.
“That’s the plan,” stated Boyle’s spokeswoman, Nicola Phillips, on Monday.
She added, “She met someone when she was in America and the idea is that he can come here.”
Susan Boyle and the doctor met at a hotel in Clearwater, Florida, according to Phillips. Boyle had reportedly stated several years ago that she had never been kissed, and it seems like she’ll be able to experience her first kiss now.
The relationship between Boyle and the Connecticut doctor is reportedly still in “early days.”
After her “I Dreamed A Dream” performance, Boyle created a solid fan base for herself, garnering millions of fans around the world and has released a string of successful records. She reportedly received an honorary doctorate and has performed for Pope Benedict XVI.
The amount of attention Boyle has been receiving has reportedly been overwhelming for her, and she was treated for nervous exhaustion as the spotlight continued to shine on her and her stunning voice.
