A 21-year-old man was arrested for assaulting a pregnant woman with a McDonald’s McChicken sandwich, according to USA Today.

The woman was the man’s pregnant wife, who was reportedly assaulted because Marvin Tramaine Hill II “doesn’t like” McChicken sandwiches.

Hill reportedly stated that his wife woke him up around 1pm with a McChicken sandwich in hand.

The man reportedly threw the sandwich at his wife and then picked up some of the bun, throwing it at her again. When the pregnant woman went to the bathroom to clean herself up, Hill reportedly followed her and began recording her using his cellphone, which he later shared with the police.

When Des Moines polices arrived at the couple’s home, the man reportedly stated that it was actually his wife who assaulted him.

The Des Moines Register has reported that police believe that the man attempted to make his wife seem aggressive by trying to get the woman to knock the phone from his hands.

After the assault, the woman was reportedly left with mayo on her shirt and face, according to the NY Post. Her nose was swollen from being assaulted with the McChicken sandwich.

Hill was reportedly arrested for simple domestic assault and taken to the Polk County Jail.
Hill reportedly still remains in custody at the Polk County Jail.

This incident isn’t the first time a McDonald’s sandwich has caused rage among both lovers and haters of the fast food branch.
