A botched plastic surgery procedure has reportedly put a former Miss BumBum Brazil Contestant in serious condition, according to the NY Daily News.

Andressa Urach, who placed second in Brazil's annual Miss BumBum Brazil competition in 2012 and claimed she had an affair with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, is reportedly in need of a breathing apparatus after the botched surgery, according to the Brazilian news agency Globo.com.

The 27-year-old model had received quite a bit of attention for displaying her famous butt during the 2012 Miss BumBum contestant reportedly wanted doctors to implant hydrogel into her thigh area on November 21, but an infection occurred, which led her to be hospitalized on Saturday at the Conception Hospital in Porto Alegre.

"I ask everyone to pray a lot, because I'm sure that my dear Jesus is wonderful and will cure it," Urach's mother Marisete of Favari stated in a statement, according to the agency.

The Conceicao Hospital Group said in a statement on Wednesday that she later woke up and was taken off a respirator, according to the media outlet Seattle PI. The model reportedly underwent two procedures at the hospital to drain a substance called aquagel that is used in Brazil as an alternative to cosmetic implants.

Aside from her involvement in the Miss BumBum Brazil, Urach had made headlines for claiming to have slept with Cristiano Ronaldo before the Champions League games in 2013.

"It was incredible, his body's perfect, like a Greek god," stated Urach after one supposed meeting.

She continued, "He went on for hours and would not stop talking about my butt."
