The wedding of Zayn Malik and fiancee Perrie Edwards might not be happening soon because of their busy schedules as the couple is spotted hunting for home furnishings.
A source told The Mirror, per Cambio, that Zayn Malik and fiancee Perrie Edwards' wedding is delayed.
"There's been all this talk of a wedding, Perrie wanted a big Disney-themed day but the reality is they've had to put it back. There isn't the time to plan a day that will be perfect for the two of them," the source said.
According to the source, the busy schedules of the One Direction band member and Little Mix star should be blamed for the wedding being on hold.
"They're both so busy, they have decided they will have to have a long engagement. Who knows when the wedding will be now, but there are no plans at the moment," the insider added.
Earlier rumors alleged that Zayn Malik and fiancee Perrie Edwards are ready to leave behind their careers.
"Zayn is fed up with the whole fame thing. He loves singing and his fans but he just wants a quiet life now," an insider told Sunday People newspaper, as shared by IBN Live.
Another source told the Female First website the Zayn Malik and fiancee Perrie Edwards are ready for a wedding and want to live a relaxed lifestyle. The One Direction band member proposed to the Little Mix singer in August 2013.
"He has become increasingly disappointed with the little amount of time he can spend with Perrie," another source said. "Unfortunately she is in a band too, they have so little time together. Zayn appreciates how lucky he is, but life is about family for him and he is seeing too little of his loved ones."
Meanwhile, talks of a wedding between Zayn Malik and fiancee Perrie Edwards were again fueled by their recent activity together where they were seen buying home furnishings.
"The star couple stopped by Sheek Bootique in Weymouth, England yesterday, looking sweeter than ever as they posed for a pic with one seriously lucky employee," said PopCrush. The employee later took to social media to describe the couple as "very polite and chatty."
