It looks like the release date for most anticipated Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy XV has been revealed.
According to reports from Gamer Headlines, Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata announced a tentative date for the game's release during an interview with GameKult as PSU translated a comment he made by saying.
“I can not give the exact date, but I can tell you it has already been set – the final release date and the countries in which it will be released. We are working to release the game on time, but it might take a little more time than you think.”

Further evidence suggest in a report from the Christian Post (via Youth Health Mag).
"The release date for the newly renamed title was placed somewhere in March 2015 when Square Enix announced that their focus was in developing the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 remake. The HD remake of the game is set for a 2014 release. Alongside Final Fantasy XV, the company is also developing the third title in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Co-creator of the Kingdom Hearts game, Tai Yasue, ensured that development for Kingdom Hearts 2.5 wasn't getting in the way of the development of either the next Final Fantasy title or the Kingdom Hearts title. 'We've been working full throttle. It's moving along,' Yasue told GameInformer. 'We structure our team in a way that development of 2.5 doesn't impede Kingdom Hearts III. I'm actually very excited about Kingdom Hearts III."
Meanwhile, Square Enix will reveal new details for FFXV at the PlayStation Experience event this week.
According to reports from Gaming Bolt, gaming industry insider Tidux hinted some JRPGs to appear in the PlayStation Experience event this December in his cryptic tweet saying;
The website further adds that these games might be Perosna 5, Final Fantasy XV, and Kingdom Hearts 3. Perhaps here gamers will find out when Square Enix will officially launch FFXV for the PS4 and Xbox One.
Square Enix has revealed several new gameplay details for Final Fantasy XV as Nova Crystalis reports that they have showcased new gameplay videos of Final Fantasy XV at the Paris Games week presentation.
During the presentation Tabata explained the game's new open-world exploration, night and day battles, fishing mini-game and airships. He also shared a tech demo that showcases character models, and battle gameplay.
In the video, the main character Noctis along with his crew run through the fields as viewers were able to see giant monsters with enemy designs inspired by Yoshitaka Amano. At night, the mobs become extremely dangerous and at one point in the video wild chocobos are clearly visible.
Square Enix is also working on a variety of mini-games, such as fishing. Tabata originally wanted a number of them in FF Type-0, but he’ll be pouring his energy into that for the game instead. Square Enix is also looking into adding the Japanese voice overs into the overseas version as well.
“The gameplay video from E3 2013 was cool,” said Tabata as he showed off some XV development images in a behind-the-scenes sort of video. “But we’re planning even better stuff for March 2015.”
He also showed off another tech demo focusing on newcomer Luna, whom the team created an actual wig for her hair. Currently, Final Fantasy XV is running on Luminous 1.4, but Tabata hopes to get it on the 2.0 version before its release.
