Jeremy Lin found himself back in the news after a dreadful shooting performance in the Los Angeles Lakers loss to the Washington Wizards, as fans continue to hope that Linsanity will descend upon the Staples Center.
The Lake Show Life dished on the latest news about Jeremy Lin as it said that the point guard looked lost and confused in the offense.
"He then went on to miss every shot he took. He turned the ball over and hesitated on offense, over thinking," it said. "He appeared overly focused on making a shot rather then getting his teammates open looks. On a couple of possessions he came down the court and launched a three without moving the ball."
At the end of the game, he tallied 0 points on 0-10 shooting. Although he grabbed four rebounds and dished five assists, he also had four turnovers.
"Sometimes it happens. They were great shots. It didn't go in my favor. It's alright," Jeremy Lin said.
But the website said the trend is "worrisome," as Jeremy Lin only made five shots in the past three games. And he also struggles on the road, which is a "characteristic of a younger player, not a five year veteran."
On the other hand, in the latest Jeremy Lin news from Rant Sports, Los Angeles Lakers fans are still waiting for Linsanity to emerge.
"So far Lin has not had the impact Lakers fans had hoped for. The fourth year guard out of Harvard still has not found his place in the offense," it said. "Lin is averaging 11.8 points and 5.1 assists in 19 games this season. The Lakers are in the cellar with a 5-14 record."
The site said the Los Angeles Lakers badly needed Linsanity this season and Jeremy Lin "possesses the quality and skill to energize the club."
