This movie might be underwhelming for it is a movie that should be taken seriously especially when studying its character and story. The actors are amazing especially Tatum and Ruffalo, Both of their characters were played well but in all honesty, Their acting is opting to be on the generic side.
Carell also went unstoppable of doing a great job in acting to the point of forgetting his real name as Steve Carell but his character never went well-explored. In addition, No one should be expecting an in-depth version of DuPont's character.
The whole movie is well done, both in technical and obvious way but there is something lacking, Reading the real story might contribute to the whole thought, There are some significant details that was on the real version that were being excluded when it was being generated to become a film.
Foxcatcher is a movie of limited ideas that is not difficult to build and to connect, Although ideas about patriotism, wealth and jealousy is to be expected, It seemed as if there is nothing to fill the whole storyline.
