"Bond 24" is called "Spectre."
In a press conference, director Sam Mendes revealed the official title of the new 007 flick along with the announcement of new cast members.
Bond Girl and Bond Villain finally revealed!
Monica Bellucci will be the oldest Bond girl at 50, while rumors prove to be true that Lea Seydoux will be in the film as she has also been chosen to play the Bond girl.
It sure looks like Christoph Waltz will be the bad guy in this flick. Named "Oberhauser", Waltz's character is suspected to surprise audiences by actually revealing that he is Bond's arch nemesis Blofield. Alongside Oberhauser is his henchman Hinx, played by "Guardians of the Galaxy's" Dave Bautista.
"Sherlock's" Andrew Scott will also be joining the cast as "Denbigh." Returning cast would include Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q.
Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that James Bond's choice of vehicle for this film will be the new Aston Martin DB10.
Previous "Bond 24" news reported that original writer John Logan has already written the script for "Bond 24." But, director Sam Mendes was not completely satisfied with it so he asked Neal Purvis and Robert Wade to do some necessary fix-me-ups.
A source claims: "Purvis and Wade have been asked to 'punch up' the script and sprinkle in more gags, emphasising the witty repartee between Daniel Craig's 007 and Naomie Harris's Miss Moneypenny, and focusing on the interplay between Bond and Ralph Fiennes's M."
According to a Yahoo blog: "The need for a rewrite implies that Logan's screenplay, while solid, might've been a tad too serious, whereas 007 adventures have always had a satisfying blend of quips, one-liners and playful banter from the lead characters, as well as a serious, real undertone, especially in the latter releases - 'Casino Royale' being a particularly raw and gritty example."
This latest development has pushed back the movie's filming from October to December. "Bond 24 Spectre" will hit the big screens on November 6, 2015.
