Randy Jackson announced last month that he won't be there to mentor the new batch of contestants for "American Idol" season 14 next year. His exit from the show was then followed by questions of who would be filling the spot of in-house producer that The Dawg left behind.

"After 13 seasons, I felt now was the perfect time to leave," Jackson previously told Deadline about his exit from the show. "I'm proud to have been a part of a series that discovered some incredible artists and will go down in history as one of the most successful television shows ever. A true original, 'Idol' started it all. Onto what's next."

Fans of the long-running show don't need to worry anymore. According to Entertainment Weekly, Taylor Swift's boss from her music label will be taking on the job.

Big Machine Label Group's president and CEO, Scott Borchetta, was tapped by Fox to help turn the new contenders of the singing competition into better singers and performers.

Borchetta's role in the show has reportedly been "re-imagined and stepped up." He will be training the contestants in every live show and he already joined them during Hollywood week for a "first look" at the potential singer that he will be taking in once the contest ends.

His presence would reportedly be beneficial to both Big Machine and "American Idol" season 14 since he would be personally training the potential singer that will join his company after the season.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the next American Idol would be signing with Big Machine, joining superstars and award winning performers such as Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts among others.

Returning judges, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr promised to "raise the bar a little bit" this season. They will reportedly be looking for people who can really show them their talent and unique personality.

"American Idol" season 14 will premiere on January 7. What are you most excited for in this upcoming season?
