After a long 26 days, Amanda Bynes has returned on Twitter, and it almost looks as if she's getting better.

Although it was just one post that she made on her Twitter account, the former actress hasn't posted anything alarming regarding her parents or her personal life, which has sparked positive speculation that Amanda Bynes is finally on the road to recovery.

The former Nickelodeon star's recovery may have been triggered by the audio recordings that were leaked online in which the 28-year-old spoke about hurting her parents.

"If your father was my father ... then you would understand why you'd want to slit his wrists ... I haven't decided how I want to murder him ... I don't believe in murder ... He literally like is the worst person ... Nothing would give me greater pleasure than like slitting his throat. That is what I would love to do," Amanda Bynes reportedly stated in the audio file, according to People magazine.

The audio reportedly continued, "So like I'm not gonna like ever do such a thing, but like I call my mom and like I threaten to kill her, and I threaten to slit her wrist, and I threaten to like burn down her house and like I said a bunch of s--- like that."

Bynes has since apologized for what she's said about her family.

"I am doing my best to get better. I am truly sorry for the statements I made. I am sorry for any pain I caused my family and others," stated the "She's The Man" star, according to E! News.

She added, "I am thankful for everyone's patience and understanding. I never expected others to take advantage and profit from my condition. I'm disappointed with those who lulled me into a false sense of security only to find out they really are only interested in selling my privacy to the media."

Bynes recent post on Twitter, which has gotten over 9,000 favorites, showed the "Hairspray" actress in a matching skirt and blouse combo, with the caption, "I'm loving Boutique Jules!"
