Pharrell Williams and Cara Delevingne were more than happy to be working together for the brand new Chanel short film entitled Reincarnation, which was directed by the fashion brand’s creative director Karl Lagerfield, according to the U.K.’s The Daily Mail.
22-year-old Cara Delevingne and the ever-youthful Pharrell Williams reportedly debuted a new track together, titled CC The World, which was written for the project by the “Happy” hitmaker.
“I was so happy, I think I screamed down the phone at him,” Cara Delevingne told WWD about getting the chance to work with Pharrell Williams.
The short film, where the two portray a couple, was reportedly produced in celebration of Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Metiers d’art collection, which was held on December 2 in Austria.
The 41-year-old music producer reportedly portrays Franz Joseph I, the Emperor of Austria in a dream sequence while the British beauty plays his wife, Empress Elisabeth ‘Sisi’ of Austria.
Pharrell Williams had quite a busy, “Happy” 2014, especially as it’s been revealed that his track has become the top-seller on iTunes for this year, according to Just Jared.
Aside from his “Happy” success, Williams’ recent album “G I R L’ was the most streamed album on Spotify this year while the singer also snagged three Grammy nominations.
