Serena Williams has put to rest the boyfriend rumors haunting her the past few months as the tennis champ insisted that she's single and in search of a man who will love her.
The multiple Grand Slam champ made no secret her love for fashion and she certainly made heads turn during the Audemars Piguet Presentation of Theo Jansen's Larger Than Life Strandbeests in Miami, Florida on Saturday.
"The 33-year-old was single and ready to mingle as she stepped out to an artsy event in Miami looking stunning in a fitted white dress," said MailOnline.
For the event, Serena Williams rocked a white dress with floral embellishments that complimented her toned figure. She wore a white blazer over it and finished the look with a pair of black pumps.
In a Twitter exhange with fans early last month, as published on Huffington Post, Serena Williams nixed the boyfriend rumors.
When a fan asked her if she has any plans of finally settling down, Serena Williams replied: "Desperately. My time will come."
Another asked if she's single and the athlete replied, "Not by choice."
After her sixth US Open title, said the Tennis-X website, the athlete addressed all those Serena William's boyfriend news and rumors in her Twitter account.
"To answer all your questions I'm single and I have been single so the speculations can stop," she wrote.
Serena Williams was rumored to be dating her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, who is married. And those rumors were fueled by Maria Sharapova in a press interview.
In a report from Page Six, the relationship of Serena Williams and rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou was seemingly confirmed by former tennis star Maria Sharapova who lashed back after the champion described her as boring. "Maybe she should talk about her relationship and her boyfriend that was married and is getting a divorce and has kids," Sharapova said.
